Monrovia – the Monrovia City Court was a scene of laughters and disbelief, over the weekend, when a identified as Pastor Jenkins Johnson and his girlfriend Musu G Quaye was charged with kidnapping criminal conspiracy in connection to the disappearance of a 14-year-old minor child (name withheld)).
The victim’s biological father, Michael S. Quaye, according to court documents, alleges that since March 2, 2024, and up to present, while he and his legally wedded wife, co-defendant Musu G. Quaye, were living together under the same roof, without his knowledge, will, and consent, co-defendant Jenkins Johnson, who is a pastor of the changing world center Ministry in the GSA community, convinced his wife, wherein both of them criminally conspired, unlawfully, and with malicious intent, took and removed his 14-year-old minor child from their home. Afterwards, the document claims, the defendants placed the said minor in another location unknow to her biological father.
“The alleged act of the defendants being unlawful, wicked, illegal and intentional and in violation of Sections 14.50 & 10.4 of the New Penal Law of Liberia, there and then the crime herein Defendants did do and commit,” the court records noted.
After hours of legal proceedings, co-defendant Johnson was released unto his lawyer, and he is scheduled to appear before the court on today, Monday. But, for co-defendant Musu G. Quaye, her whereabouts is on the run unknown.
The court’s writ of arrest, instructing Captain Charles Bloyuefloh, Magistrate Police or deputies, it reads, “You are hereby commanded to arrest the living body (ies) of Jenkins Johnson, and Musu G. Quaye, to be identified Defendant(s) and forthwith bring them before the Monrovia City Court, of magistrate Ben Barco of Temple Justice, Montserrado County to answer the Charge of Kidnapping & Criminal Conspiracy
Based upon the oath and complaint of the Republic of Liberia by and thru Michael S. Quaye.”
